ABOUT JESSICA WONG
My Approach
I am most passionate about working with people with a trauma background who are feeling stuck in their anxiety and depression. We can work together to help you regain control over your life, find the joy, and beauty in your life.
My overall approach is centered around your strengths and your individual needs.
The therapist-client relationship is significant in fostering healthy change and it is essential that my clients feel safe in our sessions. As your therapist, I would meet you where you are and gently start working through the things you want to work on.
Education and Work experience
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the Alliance Graduate School of Counseling at Nyack College. I've worked in New York City and Colorado with families and individuals in the community mental health setting for over 10 years. I was trained by EEGer in neurofeedback and have been practicing neurofeedback for over 6 years.
I have experience working with trauma-related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and relationship/family issues.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
- American Counseling Association

A Little About Me
I have always been curious about the human mind and why we as humans do what we do. This curiosity combined with my desire to help others continues to grow. It is what drew me to becoming a therapist and it is what keeps me doing this work. I love to walk alongside individuals through their pain and struggles and help them find themselves again.
I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a friend and I have experienced the many joys and struggles that come with my various roles and life experiences.
I have been a therapist and I have been a client. In my work as a therapist AND a client, I have found healing in therapeutic work and would love to share that with you.
